Divya Jyoti Ved Mandir (DJVM), a research-organisation on Vedas, operating under the divine guidance of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, organised the grand first-ever “National Summit rudrāṣṭādhyāyyabhyāsaḥ". This landmark event, aimed at promoting Vedic culture, literature, and education as enshrined in the Vedas, was held at Divya Dham Ashram, Delhi.
This 10-day residential program featured BrahmGyani Ved Pathi-s from across Bharat, offered an immersive experience of group Vedic chanting and learning. The summit was conducted in two shifts: the first from June 8 to June 12 for BrahmGyani Ved Pathi Brothers, and the second from June 15 to June 19 for BrahmGyani Ved Pathi Sisters, daily from 6 AM to 10 PM.
The program commenced with group Sadhna and collective chanting, followed by in-depth sessions on śikṣā-prātiśākhya, the grammar of Vedic chanting. DJVM's esteemed Acharya-s too graced the occasion, providing guidance and wisdom to the participants. Not only this, to further Sanskritise and Vedify the event, the participants got a chance to participate in various activities such as mantra tongue twisters, buzzer rounds, etc. These 500 selected Ved Pathi-s, spanning ages 7 to 70, who are professionals from varied fields including Ph.D. Scholars in Science, Literature and Arts, working corporates, government servants and school students, returned to their respective states to teach Vedic Mantroccharan, thus spreading the vivifying vibrations of Vedic wisdom globally. This created a ripple effect, carrying the profound and vibrant energy of the Vedas across India and beyond.
Sadhvi Deepa Bharti Ji, Global Program Coordinator, led special sessions on effective Vedic pronunciation methods and teaching techniques. Additionally, the program was graced by inspiring addresses from Swami Narendranand Ji, Secretary of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, and Swami Adityanand Ji, President of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, Sadhvi Aastha Bharti Ji, renowned Bhagwat Katha orator and various eminent preachers of DJJS.
The summit witnessed two special ceremonies on June 12 and June 19 from 4 PM to 6:30 PM featuring addresses by prominent Vedic scholars including Sh. Dinesh Kamat, Sangathan Mantri, Samskrit Bharati, Acharya Ramesh Chandra Shastri, Founder and Head, Alok Bharti Public School, Rohini, Delhi, Dr. Chaavi Krishna Arya, Principal, Shankaracharya Sanskrit University, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan & Acharya Prem Narayan Sharma, former Principal, Sanskrit Mahavidyalay Dharm Sangh, Delhi. On the closing ceremony a grand environment-purifying Vedic Yagya was organised where BrahmGyani Ved Pathi-s recited Vedic mantras while the pious fire of Yagya enlightened the environment.
Through events like rudrāṣṭādhyāyyabhyāsaḥ DJVM continues to inspire and educate future generations on the profound wisdom of the Vedas.
