The sacred city of Prayagraj is witnessing a monumental spiritual event during Mahakumbh 2025, as Divya Jyoti Ved Mandir (DJVM) has initiated the Akhanda Rudri Path Maha Divya Anushthanam—the World’s Largest Vedic Mantroccharan Satat Sanhita Path Relay Chant of the Shukla Yajurvediya Rudra Ashtadhyayi.

This extraordinary event, spanning 33 days and nights of 24x7 recitation, has brought together 504 BrahmGyani Vedic Scholars who will chant continuously for 792 hours, covering a total of 25,61,328 Vedic Mantras, including 11,088 renditions of the Shukla YajurvediyaRudra Ashtadhyayi.

The Maha Anushthanam was duly inaugurated on 14 January 2025 at 3:00 AM with the Pujan of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Mahraj Ji. Swami Narendranand Ji and Swami Adityanand Ji performed the ceremonial pujan of the Divya Guru before the commencement. Following this, the BrahmGyani Ved Pathi-s took a solemn vow to chant the mantras selflessly, with the noble intent of fostering world peace and the welfare of humanity.

As the clock struck 4:00 AM, the BrahmGyani Ved Pathi-s initiated the first rendition of Rudra Ashtadhyayi. This Maha Anushthanam will conclude on 16 February 2025 at 4:00 AM, establishing a historic world record.

This world record is being officially recognized in collaboration with the Asia Book of Records, India Book of Records, and the International Book of Records.
