Virtual Programme by Divya Jyoti Ved Mandir on Gita Jayanti: A Divine Observance of the Gita Mahatmaya

On the sacred occasion of Gita Jayanti, Divya Jyoti Ved Mandir organized a spiritually enriching virtual programme on 1 December 2025. In this event, participants were taught the pure and melodious chanting of select profound verses from Gita Mahatmaya, composed by Adi Guru Shankaracharya. The divine essence of the programme was not merely the recitation of these verses, but the deep exploration of their complete meaning, inner message, and life-transforming principles. This exalted exposition was presented in an immensely devotional manner by Sadhvi Deepa Bharti Ji, disciple of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji.

Sadhvi Ji explained that when a seeker studies the Gita with detachment, discernment, and pure intention, and brings its teachings into daily life, he becomes free from fear, sin, and bondage, progressing steadily on the path of liberation. She emphasized that just as daily bathing purifies the body, the assimilation of the Gita’s essence purifies the soul. Recalling the teachings of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, she shared that one must “make the Gita Sugita”—meaning, the Gita must not merely be read, but absorbed into the heart, for the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita is not an ordinary scripture; it is the divine utterance that emerged from the sacred lips of Lord Shri Krishna Himself.

In conclusion, Sadhvi Deepa Bharti Ji urged all seekers to take a solemn vow on this holy Gita Jayanti—to make selfless service the very nature of their lives. For service unto the Guru is the supreme duty, the highest karma, and the ultimate spiritual path that elevates a human being from ordinariness to divinity. Approximately 250 participants took part in this divine programme.
